To provide culturally safe and affordable housing for the Indigenous (FNMI) community in Waterloo Region.
Vision
The KWUNWP is a non-profit organization that has served the First Nations, Metis and Inuit (Status or Non-Status) population of the Waterloo Region since 1987. It provides safe, secure, rent geared-to-income housing and affordable housing. for Native people and their families that are in a low or moderate income situation.
Tenant Involvement
KWUNWP is an organization where tenants are valued and encouraged to become involved with their community. Tenants and volunteers are the backbone of this community and are appreciated for all they do.

How do I Apply?
- Fill out our online application or print and deliver to our location or send in by email, or mail.
- Complete the application and include your proof of Indigenous Ancestry or signed affiliation, and any other forms that are required.
-At the time of offer income verification will be required
- All application files must be complete before an application can be considered for the waiting list.
- Ensure your files are kept accurate and up-to-date. All applicants are required to contact the KWUNWP Office every 6 months or as your information changes while on the waiting list and to keep your spot.
Failure to keep your file up to date may result in your application being closed
